Major Mission Riddim comes in as a lean 2017 dancehall set from One Mission Entertainment, running seven cuts in just over 24 minutes and keeping the focus on hard, direct songs rather than excess. Iyara’s “Dem Nuh Brave” and Pinchers’ “Proper Badd” set the tone early with tough talk and a clipped, militant edge, while Chuck Fender and Terry Ganzie bring veteran weight to “Bad Boy” and “Good Reason. ” The riddim leaves room for newer voices too, with Diamond Chypz sliding into “Car, House And Things” and Jaggy D pushing “Mek Dem Know” with the kind of streetwise pressure the title promises.
