My Status Riddim – Fire 5

My Status Riddim finds Fire 5 Records leaning into a straight-up 2017 dancehall set with a tight little lineup and a hard-edged, no-nonsense feel. Ryme Minista’s “Deh Yah Bad Bredda” comes in with that roughneck chatter you want from a riddim like this, and the raw cut pushes it even further. Chilando’s “Girl Yuh A Mi Everything” is the sweeter counterpoint, a more romantic turn that gives the project some balance without softening the energy too much.
