Sticky Road Riddim – Thirty Six Degrees Records

Jamaica’s 2017 dancehall run had plenty of sharp, lean rhythm projects, and Sticky Road sits right in that pocket with a tight five-track line-up from Thirty Six Degrees Records. Keznamdi opens the set with “Nuh Skylarking, ” but it’s Masicka and Vershon who really carry the riddim’s bite, each doubling up with clean and raw cuts of “Everyday” and “Nuh Join, ” the kind of pairing that lets you hear the tune in radio-ready form and then without the polish.
