Folklore Riddim – Advokit Productions

Produced by AdvoKit Productions in 2017, Folklore Riddim pulls together KES, Sekon Sta and Turner on a short four-track set that mixes dancehall with a strong soca edge. The best-known cut here is KES’s Hello, while Sekon Sta’s Aye Yo and Turner’s Holding On round out the package alongside the instrumental. AdvoKit’s involvement with Julian’s Promos also helped position the riddim as a culture-forward project, and the title itself leans into that folkloric, Caribbean-rooted feel rather than a hard-edged dancehall attack.
