Noah X keeps this one warm and stripped-back, with a lean dancehall groove that leaves plenty of room for the voices to do the lifting. Brighta Star’s “Rasta World” and Deva’s “My Way” lean into conscious and personal angles, while Contagious comes at “Frass” with a rougher edge and Blacfyah’s “Irie” adds a lighter, more laid-back turn. The whole thing runs short and tidy, seven cuts in all, which suits a riddim that’s more about pocket and repeat value than big studio spectacle. Noah X closes it out on the instrumental, and that version does a lot of the talking by itself, keeping the riddim’s summer-ready bounce front and center.
