By the time Retribution Riddim surfaced in 2017, Fams House Music was already deep into its run of hard-edged dancehall productions, and this one sits right in that tough, street-minded pocket. The set keeps its focus tight across 13 tracks and nine voices, moving between clean and raw cuts for Alfray, Formila One and Javada while leaving room for sharper one-off statements from Amelia Bluzh, G Whizz, Nuffy and Savage. The version cut in the middle gives the riddim its bare frame, all pressure and forward motion, before the vocal tracks start flexing different shades of the same mood.
