Happy Juk Riddim – Romeich Entertainment

Romeich Entertainment was in its run of bright, club-ready dancehall when it cut Happy Juk Riddim in 2017, a project anchored by Romeich Major’s Kingston-based label and production outfit. By then Romeich had already built a reputation for pairing sharp pop instincts with street-level dancehall energy, and this set fits neatly into that lane.

The riddim has a playful, springy bounce and a clean digital polish that leaves space for the vocals to punch through. It feels built for party rotation rather than heavy gun talk: quick-footed drums, a catchy melodic pull, and enough open air in the mix for each artist to stamp their own style on it. That light, celebratory mood is exactly what the title promises.

Ding Dong opens with the kind of dance-forward energy that made him a fixture of modern Jamaican party music, turning Diggy Diggy into a pure movement record. Shenseea’s Happy Juk caught her at the moment she was breaking through as Romeich’s standout new voice, and the cut still carries that early spark — flirtatious, confident, and made to travel. Charly Black brings his familiar singjay ease to Show Me, while Konshens adds a sharper, more commanding edge on Right Back. Razor B’s Turn rounds out the set with a straightforward dancehall push that keeps the rhythm moving.

It is a lean, efficient juggling with no wasted motion, and the pairing of Romeich’s glossy production with artists who know how to ride a dancehall groove gives it real replay value.
