Markus Records keeps its 2017 run grounded in bright, contemporary dancehall, and 11 Eleven Riddim fits neatly into that lane. The label behind it is tied to Markus Myrie, who has spent years building a catalogue of dancehall productions that move between party records, street singles and clean/raw juggling packages. This one landed on April 7, 2017 as a digital release and came in with a full instrumental alongside the vocal cuts.

The rhythm itself has that quick, rolling mid-2010s dancehall pulse: lean drums, sharp synth movement and a bounce that leaves space for hooks to carry. It is not overly busy, which helps the vocals cut through.
