Jet Flight Riddim comes in as a mid-2019 dancehall juggling with a sharp, forward-leaning bounce, the kind of set that keeps the pace up without overcrowding the arrangement. Platinum Wire Records lines up nine cuts across eight voices, with Takeova getting the nod more than once on “Every Day” and “Smile, ” while Ceemone’s title tune, “Jet Flight, ” and Dawby Boss on “Step Fast” help give the riddim its movement and attitude. The whole thing runs to 10 songs over about 30 minutes and first surfaced in late June 2019, which fits the lean, quick-hit format of the project. In the middle of it all, “Qualo” by Dansweev adds another angle to the same rhythm bed, and the set closes out with Naveesh’s “Never Leave It. ”
