Nah Talk Riddim – Ram Jam

Ram Jam steps a little outside the usual one-off dancehall drop here and turns Nah Talk into a compact six-track riddim set, with the instrumental closing the project like a proper producer cut. Released on April 23, 2019, it runs lean and punchy at just over 20 minutes, and the music has that stripped, mid-tempo bounce that lets each voice sit right on the pocket. Darrio’s title track carries the sharpest edge, while J-Rile’s “History Class” and Sav’s “One and Only” keep the energy moving with clipped phrasing and a cheeky, streetwise tone. Adiiktion’s “Melanin” and Yanomamyy’s “Impossibile” round out the vocal side without crowding the riddim, which leaves Ram Jam’s own instrumental at the end to underline the whole pattern.
