Réyèl Riddim Vol. 29 produced by Guy Al MC 2025
Réyèl Overview
The journey of the Réyèl Riddim roots anthology began with a deep respect for reggae’s foundation. At the heart of this project is Guy Al MC, a producer known for his steady hand in the studio and a history of working with independent reggae labels. With his experience, Guy Al MC shaped a riddim that brings together heavy basslines and classic reggae beats, aiming to honor the tradition while moving the sound forward. From the first session, the energy was clear. Guy Al MC himself takes the lead with “Pa Bay Kou,” delivering catchy hooks that instantly connect. Natty Gregh steps up with “C'est Dur,” adding his signature voice—fans know him from his earlier collaborations in the French reggae scene. One Boss brings a raw edge to “La Vi A Rèd,” a track that stands out for its honest lyrics. The anthology grows richer with “S.R.D,” a powerful collaboration from Straika, Sylem, and Taï J. Each artist brings their own style, creating a track that feels both fresh and rooted. Salem’s “Ki Jan Nou Pé Fè” offers thoughtful reflection, while Asha D’s “L'enfer Est Vide” adds a haunting depth. Mc Janik, a respected name in French reggae with a long career and several albums, delivers “Hélas,” a song that stays with listeners.
