2016 reggae brought a smooth one-drop juggling with Pretty Butterfly Riddim from Real Squad Records, a lineup that mixed Wayne Wonder’s Giving Thanks and Praise, Pressure’s Put Jah First, Exco Levi’s Mi Journey, and Delly Ranx on Coalskill. The set also features Malica Martin and Xean Don on My Pretty Butterfly, plus Jeffrey Mykals, Fire Lion, and Roy G, giving the project a good balance of roots voices and newer names.
