Double Trackz Productions’ Fairwait Riddim landed in 2020 as a compact dancehall juggling with seven tracks and six artists, led by Di Nashinal’s MY Life, Romar’s Haffi Make It, and Shawn B. ’s Feel Right alongside Double Trackz’s own Marry Me Tonight and the Fairwait Riddim instrumental. The set also features Ghetto Don Visionary and Moiika, giving the project a balanced mix of voices over one driving rhythm. With its hardcore dancehall placement and clean lineup, Fairwait sits in that modern rootsy-party space where the producer’s own name is carried through both the label credit and one of the vocal cuts.
