LIFESTYLE RIDDIM produced by TERROFLEX PRODUCTIONS 2013
Lifestyle Overview
In 2013, the bashment flow found new life with the Lifestyle Riddim, crafted by TERROFLEX PRODUCTIONS. The project started in Kingston’s small studios, where the energy of the streets shaped the sound. Producers and artists wanted a riddim that brought both joy and attitude to dancehall sessions. The mixing board king, known for his sharp ear and steady hands, worked late nights blending every drum and bassline until the tracks hit just right. TERROFLEX PRODUCTIONS, a label known for bold riddims and fresh talent, took a chance on this project. Their earlier works had already made waves in local parties, and with Lifestyle Riddim, they aimed for a wider reach. Online streams and sound system spins quickly followed, making the riddim a staple in dancehall circles. The lineup was pure fire. Sizzla Kalonji stepped in with “Dem A Talk,” bringing his signature conscious lyrics. Sizzla, famous for the album “Da Real Thing,” added weight to the riddim’s message. Lutan Fyah delivered “Sell Out,” pushing his reputation as a roots reggae voice. Turbulance, known for the hit “Notorious,” gave fans “Health And Strenght” with his powerful delivery. Hyal Slyce brought a raw edge on “Gone up,” while Ras Penco’s “My Dawling” added a melodic touch. Miriam Simone’s “Tonight” and Bittah Sosicka’s “Gal alone” completed the lineup, giving the riddim a full spectrum of vibes. The bashment flow of Lifestyle Riddim will always echo the fire of 2013, a reminder of dancehall’s unstoppable spirit.
