Aphro G’s “Fast Car” comes off like the immediate hook, all motion and attitude, while Tene’e’s “Everything Nice” brings a sweeter, more carefree pull to the set. Kautski Boss gets the uplift going on “Give Thanks, ” and Kemstar even cuts in with the title instrumental, which gives the project a clear backbone instead of treating the vocals like loose singles.
