The Juk Up Juk Up Riddim came together in 2009, right inside a busy Caribbean studio. The band leader had a clear vision: to create a rhythm that would bring people together on the dancefloor and capture the energy of Carnival. The team worked closely with the musicians, making sure every beat and melody felt lively and unified. Each artist brought their own style to the riddim. Skinny Fabolous added his voice to “Get Hype,” a track that quickly caught the attention of soca fans. Skinny Fabolous, known for his energetic performances, had already made waves with songs like “Head Bad.” His contribution helped set the tone for the whole release. Problem Child joined in with “Gimme Some.” He is a respected songwriter and performer in the soca world, co-writing the hit “Party Animal” for himself and other artists. His song on the riddim kept the vibe fun and upbeat. Mr Slaughter delivered “Salt Fish,” showing off his strong voice and party spirit. Mr Slaughter is well-known in Trinidad and Tobago, and he once won the Soca Monarch title, proving his talent on big stages. Dr Evil’s “Ladys Toy” brought a playful touch, adding variety to the riddim. Bud Ramsey closed out the line-up with “Light Your Fire,” giving listeners another reason to keep moving on the dancefloor.
