Intercept Release Details

Back in 2008, when dancehall was still churning out hard-edged one-riddim sets built for sound system pull-up, Calibur Entertainment dropped Intercept with a lean eight-song lineup and a sharp, militant feel. Aidonia’s “Head Shot (Raw)” lands with the kind of cold-blooded energy the title promises, while Matik’s “Rise And Fall” cuts a more reflective line through the same rough riddim. Bramma’s “Neva See (Raw)” and Shutah’s “Ride It (Raw)” keep the pressure on, and the whole thing moves like a street-level juggling rather than a glossy studio showcase. It’s one of those 2008 sets that catches the era’s rawness without overcomplicating it, and the mix closes the loop on a compact release that knew exactly how to hit.
