Why Try Riddim keeps things tight with just five cuts, and that smaller lineup gives the whole set a focused, no-frills feel. Future Productions frames it as straight dancehall with a hard, compact pulse, the sort of rhythm bed that leaves plenty of room for the vocalists to cut through cleanly. Chilando turns up twice, first on “Wah Si Mi Dead” and then again on the closing version, while Frasswell and Deva Bratt’s “Why Try” and Hiquan’s “Try Draw Mi Out” add the sharper lyrical edge in the middle. Hyporak’s “Without The Gyal Dem” rounds out the vocal side with the same lean approach. The final “Why Try Riddim Version” gives the project a proper instrumental finish, letting the pattern breathe on its own and leaving the riddim itself as the last word.

    Why Try Tracklist:

    1. Chilando – Wah Si Mi Dead
    2. Frasswell And Deva Bratt – Why Try
    3. Hiquan – Try Draw Mi Out
    4. Hyporak (Kg – 9) – Without The Gyal Dem
