Bikini Riddim – Jonfx Music

Jonfx Music’s Bikini Riddim lands right in that glossy 2011 dancehall pocket, built around a breezy, flirtatious swing that suits the title without getting too sugary about it. Busy Signal’s “Bad” gives the set its sharpest pull, while Wayne Wonder’s “Get Red” leans into the kind of smooth, cheeky delivery that keeps the riddim moving with a little more polish than raw aggression. Don Yute, Kenyatta Fire and Terro 3000 keep the temperature up too, and the whole thing plays like a compact party tape with just eight cuts, no dead weight, and enough hooks to stick after one pass. Jonfx was already putting out work under his own name by then, and this one feels like a snapshot of that era: compact, tuned for the dance, and closed out by Yanique Sasha’s “Party” like it knew exactly where it wanted to end.
