The selections lean hard into the rough edges: Mavado’s “Money Changer” keeps the tension tight, Capleton brings his usual force to “Hands Up, ” and Bounty Killer’s pair of cuts gives the project its most punishing moments. Rather than dressing the riddim up, the production keeps it spare and mechanical, letting the programmed drums, dry snares and fat bassline do the talking while the voices cut across the pocket.
