“Meurtrie” sets the tone on Gloria Riddim with a clipped, rough-edged dancehall pulse that feels more street-level than glossy, and the rest of the juggling stays in that pocket without losing momentum. Blenda’s “Limye Ka Briye” and Natty S’ “Black Man” sit nicely against one another, with Blenda leaning into a brighter hook while Natty S keeps things heavier and more focused. The line-up is broad, but it’s the way voices like Subtil and Mystikal Heights ride the same rhythm with different angles that gives the set its snap, and by the time you hit Prince Aziz and Kooltans, the riddim has settled into a steady, no-nonsense groove.
