Calibur Entertainment keeps Bliss Riddim tight and melodic, with a breezy 2012 dancehall pulse that leans more romantic than rowdy. The five-track set moves between sweet-talk and heartbreak, with Voicemail’s “Sunshine” and Khrisko’s “Love Drug” giving the riddim its clearest hooks, while Juss Ice’s “You Are The One” and Toi’s “Suspended By Love” sit nicely in the softer end of the lane. Matik and Camille Kaye’s “Magazine” adds a little extra shine up front, and the whole thing feels like part of that early-2010s stretch when dancehall was still feeding the lovers-rock side without losing its street edge.
