In 2011, the Caribbean music scene saw the release of the Due Riddim, a lively soca project that quickly became a Carnival favorite. This energetic riddim was produced by MAXAMUSIC PRODUCTION, a label known for its strong presence in the soca and dancehall world. The Due Riddim featured standout tracks from several artists. TIFA brought her unique style to the song "GET FLAT," adding a catchy and playful touch. TIFA is well known for her hit single "Spell It Out," which helped her gain international attention in the dancehall arena. Another major contributor was Beenie Man, who appeared twice on the riddim with "NUVO (EDIT)" and "NUVO (Raw)." Beenie Man, often called the "King of Dancehall," is a Grammy Award winner and has been a leading figure in Jamaican music for decades. His energetic delivery on both versions of "NUVO" gave masqueraders even more reason to dance during Carnival. The riddim itself, "DUE RIDDIM" by MAXAMUSIC, was the backbone of the release.
