DIGITAL SPLASH RIDDIM produced by ALAMEDA SOUND 2014
Digital Splash Overview
The Digital Splash Riddim came together in a creative studio session in 2014. The team behind the project wanted to blend classic reggae sounds with fresh ideas. ALAMEDA SOUND, the producer and sound architect, led the process. Known for their deep love of dub and roots reggae, ALAMEDA SOUND has worked with several European reggae artists. Their productions often mix live instruments with digital effects, giving each riddim a rich, layered feel. On this riddim, each artist brought their own style. Burian Fyah’s “Nice Time” stands out for its smooth delivery and uplifting lyrics. Burian Fyah is known in the European reggae scene for his energetic stage presence and collaborations with other Spanish reggae acts. Dadda Wanche follows with “Me Gusta Tu Estilo.” He is a well-respected artist from the Canary Islands, recognized for his powerful voice and roots messages. Diegojah’s “Trouble” adds another layer to the project. Diegojah is a Swedish reggae singer who has worked with many producers across Europe and Japan. His song on the Digital Splash Riddim shows his unique vocal style. Jay Ft and Jendog Lonewolf bring a message of unity with “Love Is What You Need.” Their collaboration adds a soulful touch to the riddim. Longfingah’s “Make Love Not War” delivers a strong call for peace. Longfingah is known for his work with the German reggae band Dub Engineers and for his energetic live shows. Each artist’s song fits perfectly over the foundation rhythm, which still echoes the roots of 2014. The Digital Splash Riddim remains a memorable part of that year’s reggae output.
