Body Snatcher Riddim lands in that early-2000s In Time Music sweet spot: sharp, dancehall-minded reggae with a rowdy street-level edge and a stacked cast that moves from Capleton’s militant “Red Pon Backra” to Elephant Man’s “Informer Love Talk” and Wayne Wonder’s smoother “You. ” The real pull is how the riddim gives room to different voices without losing its bite, with Alozade and Hawkeye, Frisco Kid and Ce’cile each slotting into the rhythm in a different way, while Preston Onfroy’s production keeps the whole thing taut and percussive.
