Christopher Harrison was born in 1975 in Kingston Jamaica and he was raised in the Papine region of lower St Andrews. Harrison stated the likes of Anthony Malvo, Roundhead, Chaka Demus and Sister Nancy as his influences. He started his DJ career by mumbling on the mic and chatting wile he studied his feet. Harrison then turned this into a DJ routine. In 1990, Ninjaman released “Heartical Don” and at this time Harrison was performing as Draculla. He then changed the lyrics and the title to Simpleton and he got major support from his fans. This led to a debut recording session with Colin Fat for the ‘Coca Cola Bottle Shape” which was a hit. His success resulted in him being sought by a number of producers including Junior Reid, Steely & Clevie, Bobby Digital, Stone Love and many others. In 1993 Harrison released “Sperm Rod” which was produced by Chris Goldfinga. Some of his popular hits included “Action Speaks Louder Than Words”, “Stay Pon Guard” and “Need A Little Magic In Your Life”. In 1995, his collaboration with his neighborhood friend Anthony Malvo led to the top selling reggae single “Quarter To Twelve”. Some of his famous hits included “Pants Buckle”, “Sweat A Bust”, “Spot It”, “The Gal Dem”, “Miss Hottie Hottie” and many more.
