Ryan Douglas was born on the 16th of December. He grew up in Bucks Avenue and attended Denbigh Primary and Denbigh High School. He developed his love for music during his teenage years and after leaving school he worked on his music craft, constructing songs in his head and writing them down in ledger books. Douglas got his first break at age 16 when he performed at a dancehall stage show in Western Park. He performed a song “Nitty Gritty” and this attracted a lot of followers.

Douglas continued writing on various beats, hip hop, grimy and one-drop. He got a management and production deal with Faada Bula of Dutty Fridaze Promotion. He released the track “Gaza Defender” on the Tuff Wi Tuff Riddim which was produced by Ajang Music. Douglas entered various major competitions locally such as the popular Magunam Kings & Queens of Dancehall and many clashes for Moby Records. He has performed across various parishes in Jamaica and has informally shared various stages with the likes of Sizzla Kalonji and Munga Honourable at events held in his community. His first video was for the song “Boom Boom” which was a banger produced by DJ Karim. He also recorded the hit “Walking Gun” on the  After Life Riddim which was produced by Justus &Roach for their JA Productions Label.
