Guinness Bokkle Riddim – Time Square Records

Six cuts and only five voices keep the Guinness Bokkle Riddim tight, with Gage doubling up on “Ting Dem Up” in both clean and raw versions while Munga Honorable, Kurry Stain, Shac and Splash each take a turn over the same pattern. Time Square Records frames it as a straight 2017 dancehall set, and the title already hints at the kind of streetwise, alcohol-and-argument energy the songs lean into. Gage’s “Ting Dem Up” is the obvious anchor, but Munga Honorable’s “Portia Hairstyle” gives the riddim one of its more playful turns. The production sits in that lean mid-2010s dancehall pocket, with a clipped drum cadence, rolling bass and enough space for the vocals to cut cleanly through, which keeps the whole thing moving at a sharp, steady tempo.
