Misik Muzik’s Muddy Riddim lands a little rougher and more stripped-back than the glossy club gear the name might suggest, leaning into a grimy dancehall pulse that gives the vocals plenty of room to cut through. The lineup is the real pull here: Buju Banton on “Mek Mi Si Yuh, ” Busy Signal on “Turf Prez, ” and Spragga Benz on “The Threat” give the project some heavyweight pull, while Leftside, Mad Cobra and Million Stylez keep the energy moving with tougher, more street-facing cuts.
