Power Circle Riddim – Monster Empire

Power Circle Riddim keeps things tight and to the point: just two cuts, but both lean into a bruising, street-level dancehall pulse that leaves plenty of room for the rhythm to do the talking. Big Roundz opens with “Bring Kush, ” a blunt, chant-heavy tune that fits the riddim’s gritty bounce, while Delly Ranx follows with “Tek Set Body, ” bringing his seasoned deejay style to the same hard-edged backdrop. Released in late 2017 through Monster Empire, the project runs only about seven minutes, so there’s no fat on it at all. What lingers is the instrumental’s heavy, circular motion and the way Delly Ranx rides it with veteran ease on the closing track.
