By 2014, Seanizzle had already carved out a busy riddim run, and Black Leather sits neatly in that catalogue as a straight-ahead dancehall set with a strong singjay core and a few heavyweight names in the mix. Beenie Man, Bugle, I Octane, Dexta Daps, Vershon and Jah Vinci all lean into the same mid-tempo pattern, with the clean-and-raw duplicates hinting at how firmly this one was aimed at both radio and the dance. The production has that taut, hard-edged Seanizzle feel: snappy drums, a thick low end, and just enough space for the vocals to cut through without crowding the groove. “Brand New Money Me A Spend” and “To To To” are two of the sharper cuts, but the whole thing hangs on that steady 97-BPM push and the crisp bassline under it.
