Bevil Joshep and Jah Kiley give Feel Good Riddim its sharpest jolt on “Wrap Me, ” which has the sort of loose, mid-tempo swing that lets the hook sit easy without losing the dancehall bite. Deer Panteh Productions keeps the riddim lean and bright, with a clean digital pulse, rubbery bass and enough bounce to carry Darryl Fervais’ “Feel Good Anthem (S. M. Il. E), ” Kerron Rampsy’s “So Amazing” and Koen Duncan’s “Over and Over” without crowding them. It’s a small 2014 set, just five cuts including the instrumental, but that compact format suits the era’s more stripped-back dancehall approach, where the rhythm itself had to do the heavy lifting.
