Fizzle Productions’ Good Days Riddim sits a little leaner than the more overloaded juggling sets that were floating around in 2011, and that restraint helps the cut feel sharp. The eight-track set moves with a tight, mid-tempo dancehall pulse, letting the drum pattern and bassline do most of the work while the voicing stays direct and uncluttered. Conflict’s “Bring It Come” and Faze’s “Wife Her Up” anchor the tracklist, with the clean and raw versions giving that tune extra room to breathe, while Eyesus on “My Girl Is Calling” and Miss Flava on “Hot Gal” keep the energy warm and playful.
