Jouvert Riddim is a 2012 UIM Records dancehall compilation that leans into the carnival-energy side of the genre, with 14 tracks and a strong mix of established names and party-ready cuts. Konshens’ Live It Up, Demarco’s Gyal Dem Wah Whine, Tommy Lee’s Gyal Yuh Perfect, and Bugle and Richie Feelings’ Bubble Up (Sudd Up) are among the standout selections, while Lisa Hyper’s Soca Whine and Tony Matterhorn’s Let Me Touch help give the project its playful, waistline-friendly edge. The riddim was released in mid-February 2012 and features production anchored by Anju Blaxx on several of the songs, which helps explain the tight, polished dancehall bounce running through the set.
