Four cuts is all Zen Riddim Part 2 asks for, and that compact lineup tells you this is more of a quick soca pulse than a sprawling compilation. Amanda Hunt opens with “Miss The Sun, ” while Eshconinco keeps the mood bright on “Everything Is Ok, ” and then Tommy Lee Sparta crashes the party with “Spartan Party, ” a sharper-edged turn that gives the set some bite against UIM Records’ glossy, dance-ready rhythm bed. Versatile’s “Can’t Live Without You” closes it out with a smoother finish, so the sequence moves from breezy to tougher before easing back down again. Released in 2016, the project stays lean at four tracks, with four different voices and no filler crowding the mix.
