Greatest Creation Riddim by Juke Boxx Productions landed in 2014 with a strong mix of veteran voices and newer dancehall energy, featuring Assassin’s Hear Mi Nuh Greatest, Konshens’ Don Dadda, Lady Saw’s Selfie, Shabba Ranks’ Big Time Greatest, and Tarrus Riley’s title track. The project was part of Shane Brown’s Juke Boxx return to the dancehall arena after a long break, and the lineup gives it that old-school-meets-modern feel with classic drums and sharper contemporary synths. Shabba Ranks’ cut was a natural highlight, but Konshens and Tarrus Riley also bring memorable turns on a riddim that earned early praise as one of 2014’s top dancehall releases.
