Alanzo Records’ Chap Money Riddim Vol. 1 arrived in 2020 as a tight six-song dancehall set, with Navino’s Tag and Jahvillani’s Fire Works among the sharper cuts on the project. The rhythm keeps the focus on youthful, hard-hitting songs from a fresh cast that also includes Trance 1Gov, Hot Frass, Gilo Bamrush, and Diiverse, and the whole release runs just about 15 minutes. Alanzo Records paired the package with Johnny Wonder, and the riddim’s compact format gives it a quick, stripped-back feel rather than a sprawling showcase.
