Xpress Overview

Fans were full of energy when the parade set dropped in 2010. The crowd loved the lively beats and could not stop dancing. The songs on this release quickly became favorites at island parties and fetes that year. Several artists made this set special. 14Ro brought his signature style to “An Nou Ay,” a track that kept everyone moving. Barone, known for his catchy hooks, delivered “Swag On,” adding even more excitement to the lineup. Funny’s “Kill Dem” stood out with its playful lyrics and fast tempo. Jowayne & Kellingston teamed up for “Vwe Nou Down,” giving fans a memorable duet. Kaporal Ma?ky, who had already made a name with songs like “Toujou Le Mem,” continued to impress with his energetic delivery. Other highlights included Mavy’s “Xpress Wyne,” Mighty Kalimba’s “Live Our Life,” and Misie Sadik’s “Gwada Vinn Hot.” Olmyta’s “Paka Doute Dey” and Phantom X’s “Xpress Riddim Version” rounded out the set, making sure there was something for everyone. The groove was built around calypso and soca rhythms, keeping the party spirit alive. The riddim was released on the Xpress Riddim label, which became known for its strong, danceable tracks.
