Flava McGregor’s Triumphant Riddim comes off like an easygoing acoustic session, but the pull is in how he lets that stripped-back setting frame some heavy voices. Anthony B’s “How Do You Feel” and Lutan Fyah’s “Screaming” sit especially well over the guitar-led swing, with Luciano, Chezidek and Fantan Mojah keeping the conscious edge sharp while the whole thing stays warm and unhurried. The 2016 set runs long enough to feel like a proper showcase, and it was issued under Hammer Musik Gmbh, with Kemar “Flava” McGregor credited on the composition side, which fits the clean, song-first feel here; even the closing stretch, with Ras Shiloh and Perfect, keeps its footing.
