World War Iii Riddim – Irie Ites

Perfect Giddimani leads the charge on World War III Riddim, and that’s the right place to start: “Nobody Knows” gives the set its steadiest, most reflective turn before Skarra Mucci comes in swinging on “Handz Inna Di Air. ” Irie Ites keeps the whole thing lean and direct, with just two tracks and no wasted space, so the contrast between Perfect’s measured delivery and Skarra’s more animated dancehall edge becomes the story. Released in January 2016 on Irie Ites Records and Evidence Music, it feels like one of those small-package singles where the title does a lot of the talking, but the vocals do the finishing. Perfect’s cut ends up carrying the deeper aftertaste, while Skarra’s tune pushes the energy right to the front.
