Summertime Overview
ADIDJAHIEM RECORDS and ADDE PRODUCTIONS are well-known names in dancehall music. ADIDJAHIEM RECORDS is closely linked to some of the biggest hits in the genre, and ADDE PRODUCTIONS is respected for its modern sound and international reach. Together, they have helped shape the sound of dancehall, especially in the early 2010s, bringing new energy and style to the scene. One of their standout projects is the “Summertime Riddim,” which brought a fresh, party-ready vibe to dancehall in 2011. The riddim’s catchy melodies and lively beats quickly made it a favorite for both DJs and fans. The “Summertime Riddim Version” by Adde Productions shows off the producer’s skill in creating music that feels both fun and carefully crafted. Several talented artists brought their own flavor to this riddim. Blak Diamon’s “Wine” is full of energy and dancefloor appeal, while Gaza Slim’s “Always” adds a smooth, melodic touch. Notch brings a unique style with “Jump Off.” Popcaan’s “Ravin” became a huge anthem, capturing the excitement of summer parties. Other strong contributions include Shawn Storm with “Naa Lie,” Sheba’s “No Stylin,” and Tiana’s “Pum Pum Phat (Clean).” Singablinga And Lenny Mattic’s “Happy Melody” and Stockholm Highgrades’ “Summertime Riddim Instrumental - Adde Prod” round out the collection. The bashment flow of these tracks brought raw street flavor to dancehall sessions, making the riddim a key part of dancehall history. Its influence continues to be felt today, showing how powerful a great riddim can be.
