Flavour Prod’s Pineapple Kush Riddim sits more in the conscious corner of 2015 reggae than any glossy crossover exercise, and that’s part of its charm: Sizzla’s “Burn The War” opens it with a militant edge, while Anthony B’s “March Outta Babylon” keeps the pressure on with that same roots-heavy urgency. Ucee turns up twice, first solo on “Stronger” and then alongside Rebellion The Recaller on “New Day, ” giving the set a little extra lift without pulling it away from the message.
