Party Shot Riddim – E5 Records

“Party Shot” came in as a sharp summer dancehall set from E5 Records, and the title tune sits alongside a tidy seven-track run that keeps the energy high without overloading the riddim. Bugle’s “My Aim, ” Ding Dong’s “We A Summer, ” and Tifa’s “Goodaz A Dweet” give it the most personality, while Tony Matterhorn’s “Fluffy Summer” appears in both edit and raw versions, a nice little nod to sound-system use. The instrumental is included too, which helps underline the riddim’s hook and gives the project a cleaner DJ-friendly finish. Issued in 2011, it runs seven tracks and clocks in at about 18 minutes.
