Da Works produced Meddi Riddim in 2015, a reggae juggling that pulls together a strong mix of roots voices and bigger-name artists, with Chezidek’s Good Woman, Junior Reid’s Give Thanks To Life, Anthony B’s Don’t Stop Trying and Turbulence’s Love You Always among the best-known cuts. Jimmy Riley’s It Hard, Junior X’s Complicated and Little Hero’s Come Off A Wi Name add more weight to a lineup that also includes Bascom X, Pzed and other voices across the 19-track set, ending with the instrumental. The project marked Da Works’ first broad juggling release and it leans into a steady, melodious groove rather than chasing heavy bass tricks, which gives the whole riddim a classic reggae feel.
