Tight and snappy, Mango Seed Riddim lands as a four-track Keem Productions soca set cut down to the essentials, with the producer’s own instrumental opening the EP before Marzville and Freezy kick in with the waistline-ready “Bend and Roll. ” Naphtali’s “Gal Jook” keeps the motion going with a sharper, more teasing edge, but the cut that really carries the package is Problem Child’s “Dash It Out, ” which gives the riddim its hardest push and the clearest Carnival-after-dark energy.
