Voiceover Riddim comes through as a lean 2018 soca set with a carnival-night pulse, keeping the energy tight across six cuts from Blackie, Boatman, Patch, Pecos G and Tallpree. The title makes sense the moment the riddim kicks in: it’s got that open, marching-room swing that leaves space for the voices to cut through, with each singer leaning into road-ready hooks and sharp, chantable lines. Blackie’s “Jouvert” and Boatman’s “Lit The Road” set the pace early, while Tallpree’s “I In Dey” gives the project a veteran touch and a proper closing push.
