DE Riddim from Back Ah Yard Records lands as a lean little 2018 soca set, just three cuts deep but with enough personality to keep it moving. Bubbah’s “De Mineral” has the most immediate pull, all sharp hooks and a cheeky bounce that feels made for a crowded fete, while Scatter’s “Typa Waayy” rides the same groove with a more playful, left-of-center swing. Yung Mickey’s “Undisputed” keeps the energy up and rounds out the project without letting the tempo sag.
