Mile High Riddim – Aquarion Studios

Aquarion Studios handled the 2022 Soca drop Mile High Riddim, a compact two-track release that pairs Aixa’s Get There with Snakey’s Have Nothing. The project keeps the focus tight, with each cut running just under four minutes and giving the riddim a lean, radio-ready feel rather than a crowded showcase. Aixa brings the brighter, melodic side, while Snakey adds a more direct street-level edge, which makes the set easy to recognise as a short-form Caribbean release from that era. It’s a small catalogue piece from Aquarion Studios, but one that captures the simple, tune-first approach that a lot of soca singles and mini-riddims leaned on in 2022.
