Aquarion Studios keeps New Day Riddim tight and lively, pairing the instrumental with six vocal cuts that lean into bright, uptempo soca energy rather than anything overly heavy. The names on it are a good spread of voices, but Blaka Dan’s “Last Horn” and Dash’s “Hit After Hit” come off like the ones built to catch quickest, with Lil Vaughn, Mr Gold’N, Sandman and Skinny Banton filling out the set with party-ready cuts that keep the rhythm moving.
