Whistle and Drum Riddim – DJ Spider/GW Music

Whistle and Drum Riddim came out in 2017 from DJ Spider and GW Music, a compact three-track soca release featuring Marzville, Mr Legz, and Scrilla. The riddim pairs Marzville’s Gas It Up, Mr Legz’s Traffic Jam, and Scrilla’s Wood on a short lineup that keeps the focus on party-ready vocal cuts rather than a crowded cast. DJ Spider’s production for GW Music gives the project a crisp, percussion-led feel, and the title fits the whistle-and-drum theme well. With only three songs on the set, it lands as a lean release that highlights each artist clearly and leaves room for each tune to carry its own weight.
